Overview
Ascent Building Solutions was contracted for the roofing and wall cladding works of the new administration building at Nambour DPI (Department of Primary Industry). The project, initiated by the Department of Primary Industry, required a blend of materials to create diverse textures along the building's facades, as specified by the architect. To meet this requirement, Ascent incorporated Polyester Blanket Insulation beneath the roofs for insulation purposes. Notably, custom flat Colorbond panels were adhered to timbers to create large flat expanses without oil canning and waves, fulfilling the architect's vision. Additionally, reflective polycarbonate wall cladding was utilised to provide ample natural lighting while minimizing heat transference, enhancing the sustainability and comfort of the building environment.
